IT Infrastructure & Automation Specialist is Required by a Company in Germiston.
Management IT assets, security, and network infrastructure, provide technical support, and develop automaton solutions
using primarily Python.
Monitor, maintain, and upgrade the company’s servers, networks, hardware.
Oversee the management and optimization of routers, switches, and network configurations.
Ensure efficient internet connectivity and monitor internet speed, troubleshooting issues.
Manage phone lines, internet service providers (ISPs), and related IT services.
Implement and manage firewalls, security policies, and network protection measures.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect systems from external
and internal threats.
Manage and monitor access control, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions
Maintain company websites and ensure consistent uptime and performance.
Manage local servers and virtualized environments (e.g. Docker images).
Provide hands-on IT support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot hardware and Sofware issues
Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline business operations and reduce
manual processes.
Automate system monitoring, reporting, and infrastructure tasks for increased efficiency.
Work with various teams to identify opportunities for automation and process
improvements.
